The Pianos sold on our website are products of Schoenhut Piano Company noted for their quality and excellence. Very infrequently does one of our customers receive an item which for one reason or another is unsatisfactory. We would like to provide you, our customer, the procedure in dealing with problems you may encounter.
1. DAMAGED ITEM FROM SHIPPING
If an item you ordered is damaged during shipment, you must contact Schoenhut Piano Co. at the contact information below. A prepaid UPS label will be provided to the recipient of the damaged product for return to our factory. Upon receipt the Schoenhut Piano Co. staff will inspect the item to determine if the damage was caused via shipping. Upon verification that the item was damaged via shipping the a replacement item will be sent at no cost. You MUST declare this damage within Five (5) days of receipt of the item.
2. DEFECTIVE PARTS
Should you receive the item ordered with a defective or missing part, please contact us right away and we will see to it you get this part. Notification to us must be made within Twenty-Five (25 ) days of receiving the item. Minor issues (Example: A sticky key) can normally be resolved over the phone via a call to the Schoenhut phone number below. If a replacement part is required, it will be shipped to the customer at no cost.
3. RETURNS
Customers have Ten (10) days after receipt of the item to return the item should you change your mind on the purchase. It is required that you contact the Schoenhut office at the contact information below for the REQUIRED Return Authorization number. Should you wish to return the item, there is a 25% restocking charge. Also you will need to pay for the UPS ground shipping charges to the address below and insure the item. The item MUST be returned in the original shipping box and the item MUST be unused. Upon our receipt and favorable and acceptable inspection of the item we will credit your credit card for the original purchase price minus 25%. Please note the procedure outlined in this paragraph must be followed with no exceptions. This cancellation policy will be enforced after the item is shipped. If a cancellation is received prior to shipping, there will be no charge.
